hi everyone!

I have a recipe for a banana cream pie which asks for 1 1/2 lbs of

silken tofu. I only have regular tofu, is this ok?? Thanks in advance

for any advice!

Here is the recipe for anyone who is interested:

Caroline's Banana Cream Pie

3-4 ripe bananas, chopped

4 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 pkg extra firm SILKEN tofu (Mori-Nu)

Combine all in blender till smooth. Pour into baked pie crust, chill

till set.

Looks luscious.

The regular tofu will not be more grainy, dry and " beany " -tasting. I would

replace some (maybe 1/4) of the regular tofu with water and blend very

smooth before adding the rest of the ingredients, and I'd up the amounts of

the other ingredients a bit.
