Garden burgers original, or that cheesy number. Boca seems to be shutting them out of the market here in NYstate. I don't like Boca. And I just nuke the GB. Fake chicken patties/nuggets? Morningstar Buffalo wings are okay, cuz they're hot enough you can't taste anything. Fake bologna? No thank you. Fake ground beef (TVP)? Green giant? They make it, right? Only on occasion in a casserole. Fake sausage? Boca's bratwurst gives a nice flavor(but I often pick over it after cooking) to my mom's old standby: Potato casserole: layer 4 or 5 medium potatoes, one chopped onion, and 1 (or 2) sliced sausages in a 2 qt (medium) casserole. Repeat. Add white sauce (2 tbsp flour and 1 tbsp melted butter to one cup milk, shaken in a jar). Add more sauce if needed before cooking. Bake at 375 F for 50 min to 1 hour.
