Guest guest
Trust me on this one, and add your own touch in the way of more spice...it sounds like just a bunch of canned beans, and I don't usually buy anything in cans, but this seems to come together beautifully...freezes well, too. Pour everything in the pot and heat it up. 1 Can each, drained: Light Kidney Beans Dark Kidney Beans White Navy Beans Garbonzo Beans 2 Cans Mexican Style Tomatoes, also drained 2 Cans Corn 1 Can Rotel You might substitute whole tomatoes for the Rotel and use fresh hot peppers. You can also throw in fresh tomatoes, cilantro, cumin...whatever sounds good.
Guest guest
Here's my recipe I use for chili-and it is ALL from a can. I'm not a big fan of canned stuff either but this is awesome and will defiantely fool any meat eater(as I have served it to any people without telling them) 1 can of chili beans 1 can of chili magic 2 cans diced tomato(your favorite kind) 1 pkg chili seasoning 2 small onions sliced 1 pkg fake ground beef(I use smart ground cause it's the cheapest)-I prefer morning star farms though Saute the onions until almost tender. add the " ground beef " and stir. Add the beans and chili magic(I use a bit of water to rinse the can out and thin the chili a little bit). Then, add one can of tomato and the chili seasoning. Bring to a boil and boil till onions are completely cooked add the last can of tomato and heat though. Julie
