Guest guest
First, let me give a big thank you to those of you who checked out my site and newsletter to help review soy food products. I just received coupons and samples which I will list in my next newsletter. Thank you again for your help Catherine http://www.soyfoodkitchen.com Here is a recipe for Halloween: Spider Dip 3 garlic cloves, peeled 1 can black soybeans (15 oz) 3 Tbs lemon juice 1 1/2 Tbs tahini (sesame-seed paste can be found in Asian markets and some grocery stores) ½ tsp salt 1/4 tsp cumin Drain the soybeans. Mince garlic in the food processor. Add soybeans, 2 Tbs lemon juice, 1 Tbs of the reserved liquid from the soybeans, tahini, salt and cumin and puree until smooth. Taste and add more lemon if desired or more of the reserved liquid until you have a smooth paste. If you are using the hummus as a dip, you may want to add a little more liquid. For a sandwich filling, you may want a slighter thicker spread. Great with crackers and tostada chips.
