Someone was trying to get info about making marshmallows the other day.

Try this.

A tricky little number that will bring " how did you do that? " from

everyone.

 

Jellied Marshmallows

 

3 oz. Any flavored gelatin powder (vegan)

2/3 Boiling water

1 cup Granulated sugar

3 Tbs light corn syrup

 

Icing (confectioner's sugar)

 

Put jello powder and boiling water in a bowl. Stir to dissolve. Add

granulated sugar stirring to dissolve. Mix in syrup. Chill until

slightly thickened. Beat for 5 min. or until stiff. Pour into 8x8 inch

(20x20cm) pan that has been lined with waxed paper. Chill overnight.

 

Sift some icing sugar over counter top or cutting board. Turn jellied

squares over onto icing sugar. Remove wax paper by gently rubbing damp

cloth over and letting stand for a few minutes. After all paper is off,

dust with icing sugar. As each piece is cut, dust well all over with

icing sugar. Cut into 25 squares.
