Guest guest Posted October 13, 2001 Report Share Posted October 13, 2001 Big Veg Macs Source: Recipes of Friendship Cookbook Blend until smooth: 1 cup cooked garbanzos 1 cup or more of water 2 medium onions Pour into a bowl, then add the following: 2 cups rolled oats 2 cups finely ground sunflower seeds 3 Tbsp. Vegex or Marmite 1 tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. Bragg's Aminos, optional 1 tsp. sage 3 Tbsp. yeast flakes Mix together. Let stand for 1/2 hour. Form into patties on a prepared baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes. Flip and bake an additional 10 - 15 minutes. Serve with dressing or relishes of choice. Good served in sandwiches.
