Guest guest
I work in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Calgary. We watched the TV in the office all day on Tuesday in shock and disbelief and horror. Our University observed one minute of silence this morning at 10:00 am to remember all the victims and their families, and all the rescue workers. We are also having special blood drives on campus over the next two weeks which will be sent by the CAnadian Blood Services when needed. We all feel so helpless here, there is no more that we can do, and we want to do so much! My heart aches when I watch the news, but I cannot stop watching... From the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada: We offer our condolences and our prayers to our neighbours in the United States of America after the tragedy of September 11, 2001. There are not words to express our sorrow and our feelings regarding the deplorable acts of terrorism and violence that were perpetrated against this nation. With a heavy and aching heart, Leslie Holmes
