Guest guest
Pita Pizza Ingredients: 2 whole - wheat pitas (or white, whatever) 1 green pepper veggie pepperoni or salami red onion (or regular onion) tomato sauce of choice your favorite cheese or substitute Directions: I'm sure you can figure it out on your own but: Put the pitas on a cookie sheet. Preheat the oven to 375. Chop the vegetables. Spread the sauce on the pita. Put on the fake pepperoni(optional) Throw on the veggies. Put on the cheese - or not, it's just as good without. Bake about 15 minutes give-or-take 5. Pita gets all crispy and yummy like a thin crust pizza. Serves: 2 Preparation time: 20 min
Guest guest
What I like to use is black beans. Mush some black beans and spread on the pita. Add some mushrooms, I also add shredded carrots and cheese if you want, then bake. Excellent and very filling. > Pita Pizza > > Ingredients: > > 2 whole - wheat pitas (or white, whatever) > 1 green pepper > veggie pepperoni or salami > red onion (or regular onion) > tomato sauce of choice > your favorite cheese or substitute > > Directions: > > I'm sure you can figure it out on your own but: Put the pitas on a cookie > sheet.
