Honey Baked Tempeh

This easy but elegant dish is sure to please with its spicy-sweet sauce.

 

Mix in a shallow bowl:2/3 cup light honey1/3 cup prepared mustard2-3 teaspoons curry powder (to taste)1 teaspoon saltdash Tabasco and pepper

16 ounces (2 packages) Lightlife Tempeh. Score each surface of tempeh in a half inch diamond pattern, then cut each cake into 8 equal rectangular pieces.

Dip each piece of tempeh in sauce to coat well. Arrange in oiled 9" x 13" baking dish. Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes, turning and basting twice with extra sauce.

Top with:

1 12 ounce can mandarin oranges, drainedor 1 12 ounce can peach slices, drained

Bake 10 minutes more. Serve hot.

Serves 4
