Guest guest Posted August 12, 2001 Report Share Posted August 12, 2001 Gyozas Serves: 4 Ingredients: 4 Any Brand Garden Vegetable Patties1/4 cup chopped green onions 1 T. minced ginger 1 T. chopped cilantro 3 T. teriyaki sauce salt and pepper to taste 1 pkg. wonton wrappers 1/4 cup water olive oil (spray or small amount) Gyoza Dipping Sauce 1 cup teriyaki sauce 1 T. toasted sesame oil 2 T. brown sugar 1/2 cup water Instructions: 1. In medium bowl, mash Garden Vegetable Patties with fork. Add greed onion, ginger, cilantro, teriyaki sauce, salt, pepper and mix well. 2. Separater wonton wrappers and lay them on counter. Brush a little water along the edge of each wrapper. 3. Place one spoonful of Vegetable Patty mixture in the middle of each wrapper. Fold in half diagonally to form a triangle or semi circle. Press firmly along edges to close the Gyozas. 4. Lightly oil non-stick pan and brown Gyozas for 2 minutes on each side. Add 1/4 cup water and cover. Simmer on medium heat for 2-3 minutes or until water has evaporated. Serve with dipping sauce. Gyoza Dipping Sauce 1. In saucepan, mix teriyaki sauce, oil and sugar; bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. 2. Remove from heat and add water. Let cool for 2 minutes. Serve with Gyozas.
