Guest guest
White Sauce/Gravy Ingredients: 2 cups hot brown rice (or millet) 4 Tbsp. soy powder 1/2 cup cashew meal 2 tsp. salt Directions: Put ingredients into a blender. Add 2 cups very hot water and blend at high, adding water as needed to make a thick, smooth gravy. I use this for white sauce, as gravy with pancakes and biscuits, as a binder with casseroles or pot pies, or just to top any entree or patties. You can also add a brown flavoring for brown gravy, or mushrooms for mushroom gravy. Serves: 8/one cup Preparation time: 5 minutes
