Guest guest
I'm not a big okra fan, so I don't cook them often. My husband loves them, so his mother cooked a wonderful dish yesterday for us that I want to share. I don't know the measurements of the ingredients, but I don't think it matters with this dish. Butter Beans and Okra 1 bag frozen butter beans 1 bag frozen whole okra 1 bell pepper, seeded and cubed. Salt and Pepper to taste Combine in large sauce pan. Cook over low heat until done; aprox. 30 minutes. This dish is so creamy because of the okra. We ate it served over rice. My husband liked it with some drops of tabasco sauce on it. Blessings, Karla B.
Guest guest
Yes, You should be able to get them in the frozen section. They are white; not green like lima beans.
