Guest guest Posted July 28, 2001 Report Share Posted July 28, 2001 I made these this morning; they are very delicious! regards, Lori Ghany chef extraordinaire and moderator: walkitoff @@@@@ Lori's Fruity Pancakes breakfast, Lori's Own Recipe 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour 1 cup white flour 4 teaspoon Baking Powder 4 tablespoon Sugar 1 teaspoon Salt 1 each banana; ripe, mashed 1 tub individual pear applesauce; or equivalent 1/4 cup 2 each egg whites 1 Cinnamon,vanilla,nutmeg; to taste if desired In a large bowl stir together all dry ingredients. In another bowl mash banana and add all wet ingredients and blend on low for a minute until mushy. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients folding in until moistened but do not over beat or pancakes will be tough. Heat a non stick pan. Lightly spray with vegetable oil before each pancake. Use about 1/4 cup batter for each pancake and turn them just as they start to brown so as not to burn them. Makes about 16 delicious cholesterol-free pancakes.
