Guest guest Posted July 22, 2001 Report Share Posted July 22, 2001 Vegetarian, Diabetic Radish Salad From; The Complete Diabetic Cookbook 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. dijon mustard 1 tbsp. wine vinegar 2 tbsps. oil 2 tsps. lemon juice 1/2 head iceberg lettuce 1 bunch red radishes Combine salt, garlic powder. Dijon mustard, vinegar, liquid shortening, and lemon juice in screwtop jar. Shake to blend. Coarsely chop watercress, lettuce and radishes; place in salad bowl. Add dressing; toss to blend.
