Guest guest Posted July 13, 2001 Report Share Posted July 13, 2001 Vegetarian Lentil And Rice One-Pot Supper 1 c. lentils 1/2 c. rice 2 cs. sliced carrots 3 cs. water 1 pkg. vegetable broth 1 tsp. garlic 1 tsp. dried basil 1 tbsp. olive oil Wash and pick over lentils. Place in a large saucepan with rice and carrots. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook until rice is done, 20 to 30 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
