Guest guest Posted July 10, 2001 Report Share Posted July 10, 2001 Vegetarian Low-Fat Bulgur Pilaf 1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. vegetable oil 1/2 c. chopped onions 2/3 c. bulgur, uncooked 1 1/3 cs. water 1/2 tsp. paprika 1 tbsp. dried parsley flakes 1/16 tsp. dried thyme 1/4 tsp. dried oregano Heat oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add onions an bulgur. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 15 minutes, until water has been absorbed. Fluff with a fork before serving. Makes 4 servings. Calories...145...Fat...5 g...Protein...4 g...Carbs... 23 g...Sodium...6 mg...Fiber...3.2 g.
