Guest guest Posted July 8, 2001 Report Share Posted July 8, 2001 Vegan, Low-Fat Iandian Lentil Sandwich Spread 1 c. cooked lentils 4 cloves garlic; pressed 2 tsps. ground coriander 1 tsp. ground cumin 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. ground ginger Combine all of the ingredients in a small sacuepan. Cook gently over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes, to allow the flavors to blend. Chill for 1 hour. Makes 2 servings. Calories per 1/2 c...133...Fat...0.8 g...Fiber...2.1 g.
