More on pesto

Hi,

I had a look through the archives to see what had been said about

pesto.

Here in the UK, you can buy pesto ready made in small jars. It also

comes in a few different varieties......all of them based on Basil.

One really amazing way to use it is to take some tomatoes, slice them

or dice them and simply mix in some pesto.

Now be prepared ....the look of pesto is a bit challenging....it

looks a sort of green slimey stuff. You have to get over the look,

but believe me it's worth it....so easy to use. It's also wonderful

mixed in with pasta dishes, or simply placed at the side of your

plate of pasta like a relish.

 

Aalso....did you find out about rocket? It's a green salad sort of

like cress...but with a nice spicey flavour. Great in a salad bowl.
