Sygate used to sell the Sygate Personal

Firewall, but now it's freeware. It

can do an excellent job of preventing

intrusion from either the Internet or

from people on your own network. This is one

that we have run off and

on for some time now. Frankly, it may not be

quite as effective as some

other firewall programs, such as Zone Alarm,

but it's also a bit easier to

use than other programs. Try it out and see

what you think.
