Guest guest Posted May 31, 2001 Report Share Posted May 31, 2001 From Vegetarian Times, May 2001 Tartar Sauce Makes 1 1/3 cups Egg & Dairy Free [it keeps for two days in the fridge.] 1 cup soy mayonnaise 3 tbs. sweet relish 1 tbs. prepared horseradish 2 tbs. fresh lemon juice 2 tbs. sliced scallions (white and light green parts) 2 tbs. finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. cayenne 1. In small bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Per 2-tablespoon serving: 60 cal., 1 prot; 5g total fat (0 sat. fat), 6g carb., 0 chol., 116 mg sod., 0 fiber -------------- FREE!
