Guest guest
This recipe was shared with me from a friend's Moosewood Recipe Book. My family tried it last night and loved it! We all instantly had ideas on how to vary it. I'll add those after. Enjoy! Dixie Bananas (1 per person) ***That is the ONLY ingredient! *** 1. Slice bananas into rounds and place on waxed paper (I used Saran Wrap) on a baking sheet (I used a plate). 2. Place in freezer. Freeze for atleast 1 hour (up to 2 days). 3. Place bananas in blender or food processor (2 at a time worked well). 4. Blend until smooth and creamy. Ideas that we had: banana and strawberry, banana and raspberry, banana and blueberry I know that there could be endless variations!!! This was very delicious and was very much like ice cream! Use only ripe bananas, by the way.
