Guest guest Posted May 6, 2001 Report Share Posted May 6, 2001 VEGETARIAN SCALLION MISO SPREAD 3 bunches of scallions, chopped into disks 1/4 inch thick` 1 tablespoon sesame oil` 3 teaspoons miso` 3 teaspoons water Place the miso and water in a blender and puree. In a sesame-oiled (but still cool) frying pan, layer the scallions in a circle so that they form a small bowl. Fill the bowl with the puree (don't worry if it spills over) and bring the pan up to a medium low heat. When the mixture begins to cook, cover the pan and allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes.
