Guest guest
Hey there, I am a fairly constant lurker and I love the list, but I have two questions about being vegetarian. The first question is does vegetarian mean that you just don't eat the flesh of the animal, but you can eat milk and egg products? Or is that called ovo-lacto vegetarian? Along the same lines what is the difference between vegetarian and vegan? The second question I have is about cheese. My friend and I are great lovers of cheese and that is the hardest thing for us to give up to live an animal free lifestyle. I know that some companies make cheese like products that have no animal milk in them, but my question is what types of cheese do they make? Could i buy a vegan ricotta or feta? Or am I limited to the basics swiss, jack, and cheddar? Thanks in advance for your answers.
