Vegetarian Ginger Broccoli

 

1 1/2 lbs. broccoli, florets and stems sliced, into diagonal pieces

2 tsps. roasted sesame oil

3 tbsps. tamari

2 tsps. ground ginger

2 tsps. brown sugar

4 tbsps. water

 

In a medium frying pan over medium heat, saute the broccoli

in the sesame oil for about 8 minutes. Combine the tamari,

ginger, and sugar, and add to the broccoli. Add water, cover,

and simmer for 2 minutes.

Makes 4 servings.
