Thanks to you all for you suggestions on Olivia's diet! I have been

giving her LOTS of peanut butter in addition to the things that I had

mentioned. I am eager to try some other nut butters.

I am trying to shy away from the sugary foods containing fat. The

" specialist " recommended ice cream. Great! Here, have *another* dish of

ice cream! :o) Actually, she doesn't care for the coldness, so she refuses

ice cream.

She does LOVE olives, but I don't, so I haven't bought them that

frequently. Maybe I should. I haven't given her avacados in about a year.

I don't know why. Seems silly! I will try them again.

I had not thought of sesame seeds either! I can't wait to try the

Sesame Milk recipe! Thanks!

I would love the recipe for the apple-prune sauce. Olivia loves fruits.

I love the idea of combining the fat-rich foods with fruit. I am gooing to

have to try it!

I know that sugar isn't made up of fat. It just seemed that so many of

the suggestions that the doctors made contained high amounts of refined

sugar and most were dairy sources. I am not comfortable giving my daughter

those amounts of sugar and dairy products. So, once again, thank you all

for your help in this area. She is doing much better on her high fat diet.

I just want to replace some of the high fat choices with " better " ones.

By the way, welcome to the newcomers. I am one who is a lurker and a

gleaner too!

Dixie
