Guest guest Posted February 25, 2001 Report Share Posted February 25, 2001 Vegetarian Spinach Salad With Stawberries 1 pound fresh spinach 1 pint fresh strawberries, washed and hulled 1/2 cup slivered toasted almonds Dressing: 1/2 cup olive oil 1/4 cup cider vinegar 1/4 cup sugar 2 tablespoons sesame seeds 1 tablespoon poppy seeds 1-1/2 teaspoons chopped green onion 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/4 teaspoon paprika Wash, dry, and tear spinach into bite-sized pieces. Place in salad bowl. Halve the berries and add to spinach. Combine dressing ingredients in a blender or food processor; process until smooth. Pour dressing over salad and toss.
