Serves 2 1/2 sm. onion 1/2 stalk celery 1/2 cl. garlic 1 tomato 1/2 sm. carrot 1 sm. potato 2 oz. Savoy cabbage, about 1/2 cup 2 oz. green beans, about 1/2 cup 1/2 cup broccoli 1 T. olive oil 2 1/2 c. veg stock or broth salt and pepper 1/4 c. macaroni 1 1/2 T pesto sauce Parmesan cheese Chop onion, celery, garlic, tomato. Peel and dice carrot and potato. Shred cabbage, cut beans and broccoli into short lengths. Heat oil in saucepan. Add onion, celery, carrot, garlic and cook, stirring occas. for 3 min until soft but not brown. Stir in cabbage, beans, broccoli, cook 2 more min. Stir in tomato, stock, salt, pepper, bring to boil, lower heat and simmer 10 min. Stir in pasta, incr. heat and continue simmering 10 more min. Stir in pesto and parmesan.
