Guest guest Posted January 24, 2001 Report Share Posted January 24, 2001 BASIC SPELT PIZZA DOUGH Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup warm water -- warm to the wrist 1 tablespoon active dry yeast 2 tablespoons olive oil olive oil -- for the bowl garlic powder -- for flavor to taste if using 1 teaspoon salt -- scant 3 cups spelt flour If you have a bread machine, place ingredients in pan according to manufacturer's directions and set on dough. OTHERWISE: Mix yeast in warm water with spoon. Add half the flour and mix again. Add remaining ingredients and other half of flour. Work into manageable dough, turn out on floured surface, and knead 5 minutes. Rinse out bowl and coat with olive oil. Return dough to bowl and coat dough with olive oil from bowl.
