Actually to the animal rights folk, I think she (Lyda) has a point about

keeping the discussion on topic. There are other lists for the kinds of

information which you sent us. This is a recipe list and does not seem to

be affiliated with any particular philosophy. Vegetarians avoid meat for a

variety of reasons. Personally, I am one who avoids meat because of the

cruelty to animals, but I would probably go to another list for articles and

discussion pertaining to that value. I like this list because I'm clueless

about how to prepare vegetarian food, and I find the wealth and variety of

recipes posted enormously helpful

 

Thanks for all the work you do for those who have no voice.
