Guest guest Posted November 27, 2000 Report Share Posted November 27, 2000 Chocolate Crumb Cake ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Serving size: 8 - 10. 3 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups granulated sugar 1 cup margarine 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon 1 tablespoon cocoa, packed 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 8 tablespoons SACO Buttermilk Blend 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 cup raisins 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves 2 cups water 1) Preheat over to 325 degrees. 2) Grease and flour one 9x13-inch cake pan. 3) In large mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. 4) Cut margarine into flour and sugar until crumbly. 5) Measure out and reserve 1 cup for topping. 6) In a small bowl, combine cinnamon, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, Buttermilk Blend, nutmeg, raisins, and cloves. 7) Add water and beat until well-blended. 8) Pour batter into prepared pan. 9) Sprinkle reserved 1 cup of topping over batter and bake 30 to 35 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted tests done. ~Emmy~ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
