Puree can mean puree as in soup, but this is more like mashed potatoes that have been whippped. I have made this and after the puree I put it on a cookie sheet using a ice cream scoop, and browned that way it was great.

I also have a small favor for those who have e-mail systems that attach the original letter to the reply. If it is possible for you to just highlight the part of the original letter you want to quote or reply to and not attach the entire letter again, that would be great. Some of us have limited e-mail space or others receive a daily digest, like me. I have to scroll through tons of older attached messages to read a one line reply. I thought maybe some of you weren't aware that you might be doing this and since this is a friendly "QUICK Vegetarian" list, I'd thought I'd mention it politely.
