Guest guest Posted November 22, 2000 Report Share Posted November 22, 2000 Vegetarian Basil Pesto Sauce 2 cups fresh basil leaves, chopped 1/2 cup pine nuts 2/3 cup olive oil 3 cloves of garlic, minced Dash of salt This recipe is easy to make--simply add all the ingredients (except for the oil) in a blender and mix. It's best to do it in pulses until you can get the ingredients off the sides of the blender. Then mix at a slow speed and add the oil, 1 teaspoon at a time.
