Guest guest
I have been a vegetarian for almost 25 years. My husband eats meat but not red meat usually. My 8 year old daughter, Kelsey, became a vegetarian last spring and my other children eat meat though my 7 year old daughter, Marissa, is leaning towards vegetarianism. Marissa does not eat enough good protein from other sources yet. I should mention that both of the girl's are allergic to milk. Kelsey is on a 3 day rotaion diet - having milk every 3rd day but Marissa can't have any. I love the recipe's. I saw the post on Boca burger's which we love but I have concerns about them and I haven't figured out what to do yet so I thought that I would throw it out to the list. Many of the prepared vegetarian foods ( any many regular foods) contain ingredients that are genetically modified (GMO) especially things that contain soy. I'm not comfortable eating GMO foods but with 3 children, a job, limited money etc. I haven't had the time to find good foods that do not have GMO foods in them. Any ideas or suggestions??
