Guest guest
I'm new to the group. I am a ovo-lacto-vegetarian. My husband and children eat meat, though my 4 yr old is becoming cognizant of the source of meat/fish which upsets her somewhat. I do cook meat/fish for them. I am looking for simple recipes that do not require ingredients not found at the local supermarket and that my children will eat. I especially like recipes that can be prepared meatless and with meat, so two meals do not have to be made each night. " Quick and simple " is my motto. Guest guest
Hi Prashant It´s nice to meet you. I hope Sri Lanka isn´t too chaotic at the moment, I heard there has been some trouble there recently.. I love spicy Indian vegetarian food but have yet to experience India as a visitor! Welcome to this group Louisa (from UK and France and now in Spain)
Guest guest
Hi Prashant, Welcome to the veg group; glad to have you here. Where in Sri Lanka are you staying? I used to stay in Anuradhapura in the late 80's. I loved it and pray for peace there every day. Maybe you'll share some of your favorite Indian or Sri Lankan recipes. My favorite was polos - jak fruit curry.
