Guest guest
Here is a really good recipe from The Nutritional Yeast Cookbook. Tastes like fried chicken. Tofu Triangles 1 lb regular(not silken)firm tofu, patted dry Seasoning Mix: 1 1/2 cups nutritional yeast flakes 2 t. salt 1 t. garlic granules 1 t. onion granules 1/2 t. dried parsley 1/2 t. dried tarragon 1/2 t. dried dill weed 1/2 t. dried basil 1/2 t. dried oregano 1/2 t. curry powder 1/4 t. dry mustard 1/4 t. ground rosemary 1/4 t. celery seed non-dairy milk and whole wheat flour as needed Place all ingredients of seasoning mix in a bowl and blend well. Cut the tofu horizontally into 3 slices. Then cut each slab into four triangles. Dredge each piece in the flour, then submerge in the milk and roll in the seasoning mix, making sure it is well coated. Coat a large skillet with oil and brown on both sides.
