First attempt at homemade soymilk

Hello!

well tonight marked my first attempt with the new machine I purchased last

week to make homeade soymilk. The machine is called Soy Wonder, retails for

around 159.00. I am extremely impressed with both the machine and the

results. I presoaked one cup organic soybeans, which sell for 99 cents per

lb, for 12 hours, put them in the machine which looks like a big pitcher with

a motor on top, added 2 quts of water and simply pressed a button. 20

minutes later I had two quarts of non-beany soymilk, which I could honestly

have drank plain, but I sweetened it with just a bit of honey and a few drops

of vanilla. Outstanding! At the rate I drink and cook with soy milk, I

figured the total cost of the 2 quarts was about 20 cents.

Happily!!!!

OUTSTANDING!! There's a Whole Foods store close

to me...although I've never seen the soy milk machine there. Nevertheless,

I'll be on the lookout. Donna
