Guest guest
Hello Eva Nice to see a fellow Scot on the list! I'm new too, just a few days. I must have missed your first post, and I've only just deleted my " Deleted Items " as I had over a thousand in there. As I was doing it, I had a feeling I would regret it! Where abouts on the east coast are you? I'm 7 miles from Stirling and about 43 miles from St.Andrews. Thanks also to Steph for his words about Scotland. Beautiful country, but the climate can be trying! The further south you go, into England, the better the climate. Well, milder... My daughter lives in Ipswich, Suffolk which is an extremely mild and warm area. How did you find the " vegetarian scene " in the UK when you lived here, compared with wherever you are in the US? I was trying to locate a veggie restauant by where I was staying, but there were none specifically catered to veggies, although there was supposed to be one in Manchester that I could never find. As for the foods in the grocery store, there was a good selection, but a lot of the convenience foods had onions in it, and I am allergic to onions, so that made it more difficult for me personally. But otherwise, it is quite similar..no..actually it is probably promoted more positively in the UK. steph _____ Say Bye to Slow Internet! http://www.home.com/xinbox/signup.html
