I'd have to agree with Pam & the others on this one. You CAN find books that say you can raise a healthy vegetarian cats and also vegetarian products but I too believe that cats are naturally meat eaters (unlike humans) and therefore they need the meat in their diet. Not only do they need taurine, but other nutrients that we do not need as humans, found in meat -- their natural food.
