I'm catching up on mail. My favorite veggie cookbook is " Nikki & David

Goldbeck's American Wholefoods Cuisine. It's really thick, over 1300

recipes & I got it on a clearance sale from a cookbook club I used to be

in, The Good Cook. I won't do the club routine again though. I fought

them for a year & even reported them to the post office for mail fraud

before they finally dropped the amount they said I owed. It cost them 10

times what they said I owed to harrass me for a yr. I submitted proof

about 6 times that they had made several billing mistakes. So beware! I

get a small wholesale newspaper type catalog from I think J. L. Edwards

or something Edwards. I'll post the name next time I get one. They are

really cheap. They don't have a huge selection of cookbooks but they're

still worth it because I have gotten a few from them for like 3 or 4

dollars.

My other favorite is Rose Elliot's " The Classic Vegetarian Cookbook " .

It's got beautiful glossy pictures with pictures of all the ingredients

on the page too. It retails for 24.95 but I got it at Media Play on the

clearance table for about $5. It's a beautiful & good cookbook. Vicki

I just joined a cookbook club and I'm updating my repetoire of

veggie/vegan

books in an effort to motivate me. I am ordering " The Big Book of Tofu "

and

" The Winter Vegetarian. " I also ordered a book of all vegetables, to

learn

how to spice up my cooking and try some new things. It has instructions

for

picking and preparing all types of veggies.

Can the list members pick their top 3 or even their favorite veggie

cookbook

of all time and post? That might help us get a good idea of what books

are

popular!
