my favorite ground beef

I do not know if this has been mentioned but pan fried grape nuts cereal

makes a great ground beef substitute. Use this for red sauce and no one will

notice there is no beef. You would be amazed how the texture is so similar!

 

For Mexican foods such as enchiladas and taco filling I like red lentils.

They cook up very easily and are dirt cheap. If making tacos add taco

seasoning to the lentils. These are delicious even for meat eaters.

These ideas sound really good. How do you prepare the grapenuts? Do

you fry in a little oil or do you add a little water then fry?
