Guest guest Posted September 13, 2000 Report Share Posted September 13, 2000 Thanks Diane, My mother (who is Scottish) also calls plastic wrap (or Saran Wrap) " clingfilm " and aluminum or tin foil " silver foil " , have those terms gone away in Britain or do they still use them? I have to admit that my guilty pleasure is Hob Nobs, although I have to drive a long way to get any if I want a " quick fix " or wait for mail order. Oh well, keeps me from pigging out too much:-) I think you get much better quality of biscuits/cookies and sweets there!
