And I mean meal since I have discovered that non-meat eaters etc put more effort in to making salads a meal and not a side dish. Some of our favorite salads are: Shredded carrots diced dried pineapple raisns walnuts We make this according to how many of the raisins, pineapple, and walnuts we like. No dressing is needed actually. For coleslaw we add diced dried pineapple and walnuts as well. We also love melon salads, which has a variety of melons including watermeleon. Along with banana. Or the kiwi, strawberry, banana salad. Each is very refreshing on these hot summer days when the temp is 100* plus for days on end. The major meal salad we make has A variety of Lettuces Tomato sliced Avacado sliced Artichoke diced Mushrooms sliced English cucumber sliced Diced carrot Diced celery Diced cheese Tofu or regular We have two or three dressings people can chhose from and a loaf of good bread. By chewing well and having a great conversation this makes for a healthy eating experience.
