Guest guest
this also was a difficult issue for me, i read the article when it was sent to another list, and at my job a bunch of people are raising money for the april 29 walk and even got me to sign up to walk as well....i read the article, i even emailed the March of Dimes to get answers, and finally decided not to walk....it is so difficult because i wonder sometimes if it is necessary to test on animals and i am wrong to withdraw my support....but animal testing bothers me sooooo much....i love my little critters and when i imagine them being test subjects i just want to cry!!! so i have decided to simply support cruelty free charities....if this offends anyone i apologize but from my point of view, my animals (i have 2 cats and a house bunny) are like my kids and i can't stand the idea of any awful tests being done on them!!! anyway, yeah, its a touchy subject, for sure....people at work think i'm even more crazy now, lol....(i'm the only vegetarian there so they already think i'm nuts)... >>>>>>>>>>> in a lot of ways I agree... Animal testing bugs me when not done as humanly as possible and the animals are not taken care of...but some things need the testing in live animals...they can't use people it is an issue of balance for me... and a somewhat touchy one > Tanaista
