Guest guest
Hi everyone, Here's a really easy recipe for vegan ceasar salad dressing. All the "mainstream" Caesar salad dressings I've come across in grocery stores are not vegan friendly. They have eggs and/or parmesan cheese in them, although not often anchovies. - Amanda Ceasar Salad Dressing (Vegan) Preparation: 30min 1 pkge Firm Silken Tofu (10 1/2 oz) 10 pitted green olives 1T Olive brine 2T Nori Flakes (or crumbled Nori sheet) 1 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp salt 1T nutritional yeast 1T Dijon mustard 3T water Juice of 1/2 a lemon 1 tsp minced garlic 1/2 c extra virgin olive oil Place all ingredients except oil in blender or food processor. Process until blended. Slowly drizzle in oil while processing. Makes 1½ cups that one of the Kraft flavors of Caesar (light they think...but were not sure) had no anchovies in it...they used that as a vegetarian Caesar dressing for several vegans...they all loved it and were really suprised that it was veg
