Guest guest
I came up with a great under 20 minute dinner last night using items I had on hand. Vegans can easily adapt it. Combine 1 can of Bush_s Mexican Style Chili Magic with 1 package of you favorite beef flavored TVP. Cook according to directions on the can. While it_s simmering, grate cheddar cheese and warm up burrito sized flour tortillas. Spread a thick layer of sour cream on tortilla, fill with chili, top with cheese and roll. Ta-Da! Chili Cheese Burritos! Also, I wanted to share a great web site I found for purchasing meat alternative products. The site www.nomeat.com has a vast selection of alternatives to beef, chicken, seafood, lunch meats, eggs, and dairy. Single items are discounted 5% and cases (for those of you fortunate enough to have a big freezer) are discounted 10%. Shipping on canned items and mixes is reasonable but for perishables you need to pay for UPS second day air. So, I_ll have to pay $7 to ship the frozen _fish_ patties I_ve been searching for :-(
