Guest guest
I'm homeschooled, and like my three previous siblings, I was GOING to be doing dissections, but I started arguing and revolting against my parents about it (wasn't too happy), and finally my dad took my side, as he usually does in vegetarian-related matters, and told my mom to get me a virtual-dissections CD. I haven't done any yet because I'm not in that section of biology yet, but it's either a CD where you watch dissections or where you virtually dissect a cartoonish drawing of a fetal pig or whatever. Anyway, it's a lot better than dissecting a fetal pig (which I would rather be alive). I don't know how public schools work, but if you could make some sort of compromise with the principal that would be great. I, for one, think that there should be more alternatives in high schools `cos more and more teens are going vegetarian and becoming animal right's activists and all that. I don't know anything about school cafeterias, but I think they should put more veggie alternatives in there, too. I know at the hospital where I work I'm a little peeved because they discontinued the veggie burger, so now my only vegetarian alternative when I get hungry is an oily grilled cheese sandwich. Yuck! ~Emmy~ ____ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
