Guest guest Posted October 13, 1999 Report Share Posted October 13, 1999 I would suggest choosing your favorite non-veg recipe and substitute meat sauce for a yummy homemade or store-bought chunky marinara sauce. Then instead of meat choose your favorite vegetables. I suggest bell peppers, aubergine (eggplant), zucchini, spinach and squash all make lovely vegetable to layer in whatever proportions you choose. My only mandatory when making lasagna is substituting half of the ricotta cheese with silken tofu and blending the two together. There is no taste difference. It adds protein and has less fat as a whole recipe. Happy lasagna making friends. Does anyone have recipes for vegan chocolate chip cookies?
