Guest guest
Cheesecake Simplicity ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Serving size: 8. CRUST: ------ 1 cup graham cracker crumbs 3 tablespoons sugar 3 tablespoons margarine, melted FILLING: -------- 5 eggs 1 tablespoon vanilla 3 8-ounce packages Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened 1 & 1/2 cup sugar 3 tablespoons flour CRUST: ------ 1) Combine crumbs, sugar and margarine. 2) Press mixture onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan or 9-inch cake pan. 3) Bake crust in oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. FILLING: -------- 1) In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and flour until smooth. 2) Add eggs and vanilla and beat until well-blended. 3) Pour into springform pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until set. When the cheesecake has cooked and pulled away from the sides of the pan, remove sides and chill for 24 to 48 hours. Can top with a mixture of 1/2 cup sweetened whipped cream mixed with 1/4 cup sour cream and 2 tablespoons sugar, or just top with simple prepared cherry or blueberry pie filling. HINT: In order to get the perfect cheesecake (not cracked on top), one way is to take the cheesecake out of the oven before it is done, such as when the top of the cheesecake is still a little jiggley.
