I am a member of your list, and enjoy it immensely. However I am a

diabetic, and find that the needs of a diabetic vegetarian are not usually

met on any of the various lists dedicated to diabetics and/or vegetarianism.

In the hopes that those who share these two common traits -- one

unfortunate, and one fortunate, feel the need for support as I do, I have

started a list just for those people.

 

Go to: diabetic_vegetarian- to join if you wish. We

particularly need people who understand the dietary needs of diabetics who

can help us select appropriate vegetarian recipies. And since diet and

exercise are two components of a get-well program for diabetics, we

especially need help from those who can help all of us plan such a program

for vegetarians, and tell us how to stay on it. And how to measure our

progress as we go.
