This came out really good....wasn't as hard as it sounds...was actually

rather easy.

Tanaista

I sauted 1/2 onion, and 3 large cloves of carlic...cut into small peieces

with a little bit of ginger, salt and mixed herbs on it...done in olive oil

with a touch of soy sauce.

while that cooked I cut several slices of tofu...thin (firm) cut thim into

strips about an inch long...cut however many is best to feed you...I did

this for two...people...one who normaly is a meat eater...he loved it...

Set them between cloths with something on them to drain some fluid out

while I prepared the sauce to marinade it in.

I used coconut milk (about 1/2 can) added soy sauce (to taste) and some

ground ginger and some mixed herbs. I then added the onion and garlic

stirred and tasted

This needs to be a little stronger than you would actually eat alone for

the marinade (it will be diluted later...)

place the tofu slices in...be sure they are covered...

Boil some pasta...

Take the slices out and place in a skillet...(do not drain them...) cook

till browning adding a little of the sauce on top of them...turn..brow

other side...

remove from pan...cook one tomatoe cut large in a very little oil just

till barly browning and soft...pour the marrinade sauce into the

pan...mix...add 1/4 can of the coconut milk (if desired add some soy milk

or use 1/8 can coconut milk to same of soy milk)

place pasta in bowls...place slices onto the pasta....put a little coconut

milk on...put sauce on top...enjoy...

Was excelent...and really sounds more complicated than it was.
